China’s economy has been able to maintain consistent and stable development in spite of the slow recovery of global economy. Coupled with population growth and urbanization process, demand for food items especially those non-conventional food products such as bakery and confectionery goods seen growing in double-digit. With the relatively low per capita consumption of bakery & confectioneries among the Chinese, it is expected that this market segment will continue to grow strongly in years to come.
