In February last year, the Colombian Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry has published the Decree No. 343, as part of the government's efforts to counter the country's inflation. The Decree had authorized a temporary cut in import tariff of crude palm oil and selected processed palm products. The reduction imposed for six months at a zero percent (as compared to the earlier of 40%), which commenced on February 29 and ended on August 29, 2016. |
